A retired Army Officer, I bring a wealth of discipline and leadership to my professional and social life. With a lifelong commitment to service, I’ve been actively involved in community organizations since childhood, striving to make a positive impact in the lives of others. My experiences in the military and engineering have shaped my problem-solving skills and fostered a strong sense of responsibility. Above all, I take great pride in being a father of two, cherishing every moment spent nurturing their growth and values. My journey reflects a dedication to both professional excellence and community service.

Shajib Mushfiqur Rahman

Shajib was born and raised in Bangladesh. After completing his graduation from North South University and multiple years of work experience, moved to Australia in 2008. Shajib is currently residing in Brisbane with his wife and two kids. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and currently working with Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. He is extremely passionate about community activities and sports & travelling are among his other interests.

Khairul Bashar Durjoy

Khairul Bashar Durjoy is an ICT Systems Analyst and an active member of the Bangladeshi community in Brisbane. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and has been living in Brisbane for several years. Currently, he works for the Australian Public Service. Passionate about community service, Khairul is dedicated to fostering Bangladeshi cultural awareness among young Australians of Bangladeshi heritage. He strives to develop engaging cultural initiatives, ensuring that the next generation remains connected to their roots while embracing Australia’s diverse society.

Fida Hasan Md Rafi

I started my journey in Australia as a PhD student and am now working as a registered professional engineer. I can relate to life expectations from different stages as an immigrant. I enjoy all sorts of sports and strongly believe that sporting events can bring communities together and create a harmonious society. My intention as a Sports EC is to facilitate various sporting platforms where community members can participate and get the most out of their BAB membership.
