Md Masum Iftekharul Islam
Masum was born in Dhaka and spent his childhood in Chottogram, Bangladesh. After completing his Graduation in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Masum worked with several multinational companies in Bangladesh before moving to London, UK. Since 2011, Masum has been living in Australia and currently residing in Brisbane with his wife and son. Masum has experience of working with different well known Australian organisations including the Department of Housing & Public Works of Queensland Government and he is extremely passionate about community and social services. He is also enthusiastic about sports, travel and cultural activities.
Sheikh Bashar Uddin
Sheikh Bashar Uddin was born and grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh. After graduating as a Civil Engineer from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bashar came to Australia in 2003 for higher studies. He took up a position with Brisbane City Council and moved to Brisbane in 2007. After almost 15 years of public service in the Water and Wastewater Industry of Southeast Queensland, he is now working as an engineering consultant in Brisbane. He is also a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Bashar is passionate about participating in volunteering activities to help the community. He has been part of various subcommittees of BAB in the last few years and was involved in different community activities. He is very focused on highlighting the positives of Bangladeshi community to the wider Australian community. Traveling, reading and sports are among his other interests.Saadat Ahmed
Saadat Ahmed was born in Bangladesh and was raised in several towns of Bangladesh. From his early life he grew interests in reading, sports and later in music, traveling and movies. After finishing his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, he worked in the information technology sector with several multinational telecom companies in Bangladesh and Australia. Currently, he is working as a technical consultant in the Queensland Health Finance Division. Apart from professional interests and hobbies, he has got a strong desire to work for the people, for the community.
