A Class 1 Marine Engineer from Singapore and Chartered Engineer (CEng, CMarEng, MIMarEST), Jamal currently works at the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). He holds an MBA from Murdoch University, Australia, complementing his strong technical background with strategic and managerial expertise.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jamal is a dedicated sportsman and community advocate who believes in the power of teamwork—both on the field and within the community. As General Secretary of the Bangladesh Association of Brisbane (BAB), he is passionate about uplifting the Bangladeshi community, fostering connections, and creating opportunities for growth and collaboration.
